Company data, by source

1,000 companies currently in the directory, sourced as follows:

  • SEC Form D filings993 companies
  • dot.LA reporting7 companies

Refresh cadence

News and funding-round detection run on an automated daily schedule, pulling from startup-focused RSS feeds and news search. The company roster itself (new SEC Form D filers, new YC batches) is refreshed by running the sourcing pipeline by hand on an ongoing basis, not on a fixed schedule — so a specific company's data can lag its real-world filing or announcement by days to weeks. This isn't a real-time feed, and we don't claim it is.

What we don't have

No private data: no burn rate, no dilution, no valuation, no revenue unless a company self-reports it. SEC Form D discloses the amount raised in a given offering, not a company's financials. Fields we can't verify are left blank rather than estimated.

Corrections

Every source above is public record or a founder's own submission — mistakes happen on our end sometimes (a misfiled industry, a company that shouldn't qualify). Flag it here and we'll fix it by hand.
