Conventional aircraft control mechanisms have limited authority and engines/motors aren't built to handle the off-axis loads introduced by thrust vectoring, constraining control performance especially at low or varying airspeed.

Aerofex builds a thrust-vectoring propulsor (TVP) that pivots through the center of thrust to redirect propulsion forces directly into the airframe (isolating the engine, which only supplies torque), giving fixed-wing-style control independent of airspeed for retrofits or new aircraft designs.

The technology is protected by multiple issued and pending US and international patents (including US Patent 12,371,154), can be mounted in any orientation for lift or propulsion, works in single-axis or fully gimbaled configurations, and accommodates almost any OEM or custom blade.

Founded by Mark De Roche, Aerofex built the Aero-X, one of the first working hoverbikes, and is based in Los Angeles.
