The future takes shape
Commercial aviation faces the industry's toughest challenge of high fuel use and emissions, and needs a path to zero.
JetZero is developing the Z4, a low-drag, lightweight, all-wing 250-seat aircraft that uses up to 50% less fuel than today's commercial jets.
Its proprietary all-wing airframe design delivers up to 50% better fuel performance, and the program has attracted investment and orders interest from Alaska Airlines, United Airlines, JAL, and Gulf Air.
Its blended-wing-body aircraft program is backed by the U.S. Air Force and NASA, and United Airlines has invested with an agreement covering a path to purchase up to 200 of its planes.
